Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and customer-focused Conference Host to join our dynamic team in Davenport, Iowa. As a Conference Host, you will be the face of our corporate events, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for all guests and presenters. This role requires an individual with a polished appearance, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to guest service. You will be responsible for managing conference flow, providing assistance, and maintaining a sophisticated atmosphere in our corporate event spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome conference attendees and presenters upon arrival.
- Direct guests to appropriate meeting rooms, facilities, and amenities.
- Provide accurate information regarding event schedules, speakers, and venue details.
- Assist with registration processes and distribute materials as needed.
- Monitor conference areas to ensure cleanliness, order, and proper setup.
- Anticipate and respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues with AV equipment or escalate to appropriate support.
- Coordinate with catering, AV, and event planning teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting our corporate standards.
- Manage guest flow and crowd control during peak times or transitions between sessions.
