Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Dedicated Route Driver to join our team in Warwick, Rhode Island. This is an exciting opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent miles, predictable schedules, and no-touch freight. You will operate state-of-the-art equipment, primarily on dedicated routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle on dedicated routes.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams.
- Represent XPO Logistics professionally at all times.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record (MVR)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- Proficiency with Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with no-touch freight operations
- Familiarity with local and regional routes in the Northeast
- Proven track record of on-time delivery
- Hazmat endorsement (not required, but a plus)
- Tanker endorsement (not required, but a plus)
