Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily educational activities and lesson plans.
- Supervise children during playtime, meal times, and nap times, ensuring their safety and engagement.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Provide basic care for children, including assisting with feeding, diapering, and potty training as needed.
- Observe and communicate any concerns regarding children's development or behavior to the lead teacher or center director.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for children.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Some college coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Previous volunteer or paid experience working with young children.
