Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Perform various warehouse tasks, including receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping of packages and freight.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided).
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and organization of products.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Participate in training programs and mentorship opportunities to develop leadership skills and prepare for supervisory roles.
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Assist in the training of new team members as you progress in your role.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 pounds (with assistance if needed).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated leadership potential or prior experience in a team lead capacity (informal or formal).
