Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient E-commerce Returns Sorter to join our warehouse team in Savannah, GA. This fast-hire role is critical to our operations, ensuring that returned items are processed accurately and swiftly. You will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, sorting, and preparing returned products for restocking or further processing. This is a hands-on warehouse position requiring attention to detail and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming returned packages and products.
- Inspect items for damage, defects, and completeness according to company guidelines.
- Accurately sort products into designated categories (e.g., restockable, damaged, vendor return).
- Utilize handheld scanners and computer systems to log return information.
- Repackage items as needed to meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, which may include standing for long periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics setting.
- Familiarity with e-commerce return processes.
