Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Grocery Stocking Auditor to join our night replenishment team in Boulder, CO. This crucial role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, focusing on the precise auditing of incoming products and the replenished stock during overnight shifts. You will be responsible for verifying product counts, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that shelves are stocked according to planograms and quality standards. This position is vital to maintaining our product availability and customer satisfaction for the next day’s business.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive audits of incoming grocery shipments against invoices and purchase orders during night shifts.
- Verify product counts, quality, and expiration dates for all replenished stock.
- Identify and report discrepancies in inventory, including overages, shortages, and damages.
- Ensure all products are accurately scanned, priced, and placed on shelves according to store planograms and merchandising standards.
- Monitor and maintain organization of backstock areas, ensuring proper rotation and storage.
- Collaborate with the night replenishment team to resolve stocking issues and improve efficiency.
- Adhere to all company safety, sanitation, and operational policies and procedures.
- Provide clear and concise reports on audit findings to management.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently and accurately with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to read and interpret numerical data.
- Ability to work consistently during night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Familiarity with inventory management principles and retail operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a grocery store, retail, or warehouse environment.
- Experience with inventory auditing or quality control.
- Knowledge of various produce, grocery, or dairy products.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and inventory software.
