Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead our dynamic housekeeping team in Las Vegas. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency within our luxury resort environment. The Executive Housekeeper will oversee all aspects of housekeeping operations, including staff management, inventory control, and maintaining impeccable standards across all guest rooms and public areas. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all housekeeping operations, ensuring compliance with brand standards and guest expectations.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control checklists.
- Monitor and manage departmental budget, inventory, and supply ordering to optimize cost-efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, order, and readiness.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests and complaints, resolving issues with professionalism.
- Oversee laundry operations, including linen management and uniform distribution.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments (Front Office, Maintenance) to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Prepare reports on departmental performance, occupancy, and expenditures.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as business demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Certification from a recognized hospitality association (e.g., AHLEI Certified Executive Housekeeper).
- Experience with international guest relations and diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
