Job Description

Discount Tire in Virginia Beach is seeking a motivated and energetic Tire Fitter Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hands-on mechanical role perfect for individuals with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in vehicle maintenance. No prior experience is required, as we provide comprehensive training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, learning the ins and outs of tire service, wheel installation, and general shop operations in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced technicians with tire installations, rotations, and repairs.
- Mount and balance tires using state-of-the-art equipment.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections related to tire wear and pressure.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and shop floor.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers.
- Learn and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Support inventory management by assisting with tire stocking and organization.
