Job Description
Whataburger is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our San Antonio team as Fast Food Cashiers. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those seeking to start a career in the fast-paced food service industry. As a Fast Food Cashier, you will be the face of Whataburger, responsible for providing exceptional service, accurately processing orders, and ensuring every customer leaves with a smile. Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate cash registers and POS systems to handle transactions, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and provide correct change.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the front counter and dining room.
- Assist in preparing beverages and simple food items as needed.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Upsell menu items and inform customers about daily specials.
