Job Description

Join the Publix team as a Food Service Quality Rater, where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards for food safety and quality within our local store operations. This routine work involves systematic evaluation of food preparation, handling, and presentation to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This is an on-site position focused on ensuring the freshest and safest products for our customers in a dynamic retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine checks of food service areas, including deli, bakery, and produce departments, for cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Evaluate food products for quality, freshness, and proper storage temperatures.
  • Monitor food preparation processes to ensure compliance with recipes, hygiene standards, and portion control.
  • Document findings accurately and report any deviations or concerns to management.
  • Assist in training new staff on food safety and quality best practices.
  • Participate in regular audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all labeling and presentation standards are consistently met.

Required Skills
