Job Description

As an Associate Product Manager (APM) at Google, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, working alongside experienced product managers and engineering teams to shape the future of our products. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify user needs and market opportunities.
  • Define product requirements and specifications, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Assist in the development of product roadmaps and strategic plans, ensuring alignment with Google's overall vision.
  • Participate in the product launch process, including developing go-to-market strategies and collaborating with marketing and PR teams.
  • Monitor product performance and user feedback post-launch, driving continuous improvement and iteration.
  • Support senior product managers in various stages of product development, learning best practices and methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience (expected to complete by date of hire).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology and product development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics).
  • Previous internship experience in product management, software development, or a related technical role.
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and design thinking.
  • Experience with data analysis tools or methodologies.
