Job Description
Brooklyn Technical High School is seeking a dedicated and highly organized High School Office Partner with a strong focus on administrative support and meticulous filing systems. This essential role ensures the smooth day-to-day operations of our school office, supporting faculty, staff, students, and parents. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining accurate and accessible records. This position is vital to our school’s efficiency and positive environment, contributing directly to our mission of academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain comprehensive filing systems for student records, staff documents, and general school administration, both physical and digital.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and correspondence efficiently.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and coordinating school events.
- Prepare and distribute various school communications, reports, and memos.
- Greet visitors, answer phones, and provide general information and assistance to students, parents, and staff.
- Order, receive, and stock office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
- Support administrative tasks for school leadership, including data entry and report generation.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information and records.
- Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure seamless office operations.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Demonstrated experience in managing and organizing complex filing systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
