Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs) to join our growing team in Sparks, Nevada, and surrounding suburbs. This role offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to balance your professional and personal life while providing essential care to our patients. As an HHA, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Help with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, tidying living areas, and meal preparation.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient health status or behavior to the supervising nurse.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
  • Assist with medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
  • Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current HHA certification or equivalent, as required by state regulations
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • First Aid and CPR certification
