Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians and installers with the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, refrigeration lines, and equipment.
- Handle and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from job sites.
- Perform basic tasks such as cutting, drilling, fastening, and sealing under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on job sites and in company vehicles.
- Learn and adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions diligently.
- Participate actively in on-the-job training and seek opportunities for skill development.
Required Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from our San Jose facility.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, mechanical trades, or a related field (even if minimal).
- Completion of a vocational program in HVAC or a related discipline.
- Basic understanding of HVAC principles or system components.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
