Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In-Store Pharmacy Technician to join our team for part-time evening shifts in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist in filling prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain patient records and manage prescription data with strict confidentiality.
- Process prescription refills and new prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at the pharmacy counter and over the phone.
- Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and organizing medications.
- Handle cash register transactions and manage payment processing.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy workstation.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current California Pharmacy Technician License/Registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to work evening shifts consistently.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- PTCB certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board).
- Prior experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
