Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Interior Car Detailer to join our dynamic team at JCT600 Volkswagen Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and have a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for ensuring the interiors of our vehicles, from brand new models to pre-owned cars, are immaculately clean and presented to the highest standards. All necessary detailing equipment will be provided, and we offer daily pay options to support our team. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior cleaning of vehicles, including vacuuming, shampooing carpets and upholstery, and cleaning all surfaces.
- Detail dashboards, door panels, center consoles, and other interior components using appropriate cleaning agents and tools.
- Clean and condition leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces.
- Apply protective treatments to interior surfaces as required.
- Clean windows and mirrors to a streak-free finish.
- Remove any odors or stains from vehicle interiors.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and adherence to dealership standards before handover.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care of detailing equipment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work meticulously with a strong attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of car interior cleaning products and techniques.
- Valid UK driving license preferred, but not essential for on-site detailing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car detailing or a related field.
- Familiarity with various types of vehicle interiors and materials.
- Knowledge of advanced detailing techniques and products.
