Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Aide to join our corporate support team in Stamford, CT. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in the financial services industry, offering a unique opportunity to learn the operational backbone of investment banking. You will provide crucial administrative and operational support to our investment banking professionals, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to the efficiency of our various departments. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. While prior finance experience is not required, a genuine interest in the industry and a commitment to professional growth are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to investment banking teams, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating travel arrangements.
- Prepare, edit, and format presentations, reports, and other critical documents using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Assist with data entry, record keeping, and maintaining organized digital and physical filing systems.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence, directing inquiries to appropriate personnel.
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment maintenance, and general office management tasks.
- Support project management initiatives, including tracking deadlines and compiling necessary materials.
- Facilitate internal and external communications, ensuring professionalism and accuracy.
- Assist with onboarding new team members and supporting various HR-related administrative tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to all company compliance policies.
