Job Description

Suffolk Construction is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Construction Labourers. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, etc.) with various tasks.
- Perform general site clean-up and maintenance to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment, transporting them to designated areas on site.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Dig trenches, shovel earth, and move heavy objects as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and company regulations diligently.
- Support project teams in meeting construction schedules and quality standards.
- Participate actively in all provided training and safety certification programs.
Required Skills
- No prior construction experience required – eager to learn is key!
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, bending, and climbing.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites in the Cambridge, MA area.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Basic understanding of construction site environments (e.g., from personal projects or casual observation).
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (we will provide if not already held).
