Job Description
Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional with a passion for data and an interest in Google’s ecosystem? Capgemini is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals eager to kickstart their career in data analytics, working remotely and contributing to projects leveraging Google’s powerful suite of tools. You’ll play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, supporting various client initiatives and internal projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize data from various sources within the Google ecosystem (e.g., Google Analytics, BigQuery, Google Sheets).
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools like Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio) or other visualization platforms.
- Assist in the interpretation of data to support business decisions and client strategies.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and project managers to understand data requirements and deliver meaningful analysis.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and findings clearly and concisely.
- Support the implementation and optimization of data collection strategies.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of SQL for data querying.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
- Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI).
- Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis.
- Understanding of Google Cloud Platform services, especially BigQuery or Google Analytics.
- Prior experience with data cleaning and preparation.
