Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Product Manager to join our dynamic AI/SaaS product team. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring product professional to contribute to the development and launch of innovative AI-powered SaaS solutions. You will work closely with senior product managers, engineering, design, and marketing teams to define product requirements, analyze market trends, and ensure the successful delivery of features that delight our customers. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, business acumen, and strong communication skills, with a passion for artificial intelligence and software as a service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and maintenance of product roadmaps and backlogs for AI/SaaS products.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and market opportunities.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from various stakeholders.
- Translate high-level requirements into detailed user stories and functional specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- Support product launches by coordinating with marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
- Monitor product performance and user feedback, identifying areas for improvement and new features.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Help define and track key product metrics (KPIs) to measure success.
- Communicate product updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated understanding of AI/Machine Learning concepts and SaaS business models.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Basic knowledge of product management methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
- Proficiency in data analysis and presentation tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or co-op experience in product management, software development, or data science.
- Experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Aha!).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Understanding of UX/UI principles.
- Ability to prototype or sketch basic user flows.
