Job Description
Join the Meijer team as a Distribution Center Associate in Grand Rapids, Michigan! This crucial role is at the heart of our operations, ensuring that products are efficiently received, stored, and shipped to our stores, ultimately reaching our valued customers. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process inbound shipments with accuracy.
- Pick and pack products according to order specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (training provided, if necessary).
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards.
- Load outbound shipments onto trucks efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
