Job Description
Are you a responsible 13-year-old looking for a way to earn some pocket money and help out your community? TruGreen is facilitating a special ‘Neighbors & Friends Plant Watering Service’ program in Fairfield, connecting motivated teens with local residents who need a helping hand with their plant care while they are away or busy. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop responsibility, time management skills, and earn money in your own neighborhood. You will be assigned to a small roster of homes within walking or biking distance, ensuring plants are watered regularly and properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly visit assigned homes to water indoor and outdoor plants as instructed by homeowners.
- Follow specific watering schedules and plant care instructions provided by neighbors.
- Ensure plants receive appropriate amounts of water, checking soil moisture levels.
- Report any plant health concerns or issues to homeowners promptly.
- Maintain a friendly and respectful demeanor with all neighbors and community members.
- Manage your time effectively to complete all watering tasks on schedule.
- Communicate availability and any schedule conflicts in advance.
