Job Description

We are urgently seeking skilled and safety-conscious Stand-up Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team in South Philadelphia. This is an immediate hire opportunity for individuals ready to contribute to a fast-paced and essential part of our logistics network. As a Stand-up Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in the movement, storage, and retrieval of materials within our fulfillment center, ensuring efficient operations and timely delivery to our customers. Safety, precision, and teamwork are paramount in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate stand-up forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load, unload, stack, and move products and materials within the warehouse.
  • Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning and documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals.
  • Ensure aisles and storage areas are kept clean and organized.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience operating a stand-up forklift (reach truck, order picker).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 49 lbs, stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
  • Excellent adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory management.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance record.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a large-scale distribution or fulfillment center.
  • Certification for forklift operation.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
