Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our culinary teams as Kitchen Porters at Walt Disney World Resort. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking for an immediate start and who is eager to learn the ropes in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. No prior experience is necessary – we will provide all the training you need to succeed. You will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and efficiency, supporting our chefs and ensuring our kitchens operate smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Operate dishwashing machinery efficiently and safely.
- Assist with the unloading and storage of deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of stock.
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and storage areas.
- Support chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with resort policies.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Assist with moving kitchen inventory and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
