Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible opportunity to earn extra income on a schedule that works for you? HappyNest is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Laundry Pickup & Delivery Drivers in New Port Richey, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting laundry from customer homes and delivering freshly laundered items back to them. You will use your own vehicle to manage your route, ensuring timely and courteous service. This position offers the independence of setting your own schedule and being your own boss, all while providing an essential service to our community.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently plan and execute daily pickup and delivery routes within the New Port Richey area.
- Safely transport customer laundry using your personal vehicle.
- Ensure all laundry items are handled with care and delivered in perfect condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding pickup and delivery times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle suitable for transporting laundry.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Access to a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting laundry (sedan, SUV, or minivan).
- Proof of vehicle insurance.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry laundry bags up to 30 lbs.
- Proficiency with smartphone applications for route management and communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a delivery or customer service role.
- Familiarity with the New Port Richey and surrounding Pasco County areas.
- A passion for providing outstanding service.
