Job Description
We are seeking experienced and dedicated Linehaul Logistics Drivers to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As a Linehaul Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting freight over long distances, primarily between FedEx Freight service centers. This role offers consistent miles, predictable scheduling, and paid orientation to ensure you are set up for success from day one. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailer equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport freight primarily between FedEx Freight service centers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on tractor and trailer.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of freight.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws.
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
- Secure freight for safe transit.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Proficient in pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and ELD compliance.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull freight as required.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement.
- Tanker endorsement.
- Experience with LTL freight operations.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety excellence.
