Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Microsoft Procurement Specialist to join our Business Support team in Reno, NV. This role is crucial for optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting various business units, managing contracts, and driving strategic sourcing initiatives within a fast-paced technology environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, from requisition to payment, for various goods and services.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to secure favorable pricing and conditions.

  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  • Support the implementation of new procurement technologies and systems.
  • Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, supplier performance, and cost savings initiatives.
  • Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably within a large organization.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft's procurement systems and processes.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP).

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
