Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced SEO Copywriter with a strong focus on blog content and product/service descriptions to join our remote marketing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in crafting compelling, high-quality content that not only engages our target audience but also ranks highly in search engine results. You will be responsible for developing SEO-optimized copy for various Microsoft products, services, and initiatives, primarily concentrating on blog posts, articles, and detailed descriptions that drive organic traffic and conversions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a content strategy focused on SEO best practices for blog posts and product descriptions.
- Write engaging, high-quality, and SEO-optimized copy for a variety of digital channels, including blogs, articles, website pages, and product/service descriptions.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value terms and integrate them naturally into content.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and design teams to understand content requirements and ensure brand consistency.
- Analyze content performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and copywriting best practices.
- Edit and proofread content for clarity, grammar, style, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Manage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all assigned projects.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SEO copywriting, with a portfolio showcasing blog content and descriptions.
- Proven ability to conduct effective keyword research and implement SEO strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong command of US English.
- Proficiency in using SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console).
- Strong understanding of content marketing principles and digital marketing trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
