Job Description

Join McKesson Corporation as a Pharmacy Order Filler in our dynamic, fast-paced warehouse in Jersey City, NJ. This is an essential on-site role that focuses entirely on accurate and efficient order fulfillment for pharmaceutical products – no phone work involved. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and label pharmaceutical orders according to prescribed procedures and quantities.
  • Verify order details, product codes, and expiration dates to prevent errors.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems and handheld devices for efficient tracking and inventory control.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order dispatch.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
  • Basic math skills for counting and verification.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety information in English.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, distribution, or pharmacy setting.
  • Experience with material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift certification).
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical products or controlled substances handling procedures.
