Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Microsoft User Experience Aide to join our remote team, specializing in interface testing. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and usability of our software products and features by meticulously testing user interfaces and providing valuable feedback. You will collaborate with design and development teams to identify, document, and track UI/UX issues, contributing directly to a seamless and intuitive user experience across Microsoft’s diverse product portfolio. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere within the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive manual tests on various software interfaces and features.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and usability issues with clear, concise descriptions and steps to reproduce.
- Provide constructive feedback on UI design, user flows, and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and software engineers to understand product requirements and design specifications.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure that issues are resolved according to quality standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions regarding product quality and user experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices for UX and interface testing.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and testing principles.
