Job Description
Join Arnold Clark as a Mobile Moped Valeter, specializing in small vehicle detailing. You will be an essential part of our team, responsible for maintaining the immaculate presentation of our mopeds and other small vehicles. This role requires travel to various Arnold Clark sites or customer locations within Coventry and the wider West Midlands area. We are looking for a meticulous individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring vehicles look their best. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for enthusiastic individuals looking to start a career in automotive detailing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning and detailing of mopeds, scooters, and other small vehicles to Arnold Clark's high standards.
- Travel to various locations across Coventry and the West Midlands to carry out valeting services.
- Inspect vehicles for dirt, damage, and imperfections, ensuring all areas are thoroughly cleaned inside and out.
- Apply appropriate cleaning agents, polishes, and protective treatments to various surfaces.
- Manage and maintain valeting equipment and supplies, ensuring they are always in excellent working order.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with colleagues and customers.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license (essential for mobile role)
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Basic understanding of vehicle cleaning products and techniques
- Physical stamina and dexterity for hands-on valeting tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting or detailing
- Knowledge of different types of cleaning products and their applications
- Customer service experience
