Job Description

Tidal Sound & Vision Studios is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Music Video Production Assistant to join our fast-paced set. As a PA, you will be an indispensable part of our production crew, supporting all aspects of our music video shoots from pre-production to wrap. This role demands quick thinking, adaptability, and a proactive attitude to ensure smooth and efficient operations on set. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the production team with various tasks on set, including setup, breakdown, and general organization.
- Run errands, pick up and drop off equipment, props, and other necessary items promptly.
- Support the Director, Producers, and other crew members with their daily needs and requests.
- Manage and distribute communication, schedules, and production materials effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on set at all times.
- Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems to keep the production moving forward rapidly.
- Assist with talent wrangling, ensuring artists are on schedule and comfortable.
Required Skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive attitude and a strong sense of initiative.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic understanding of film or video production workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Production Assistant, especially on commercial or music video sets.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field.
- Familiarity with local vendors and production resources in the Virginia Beach area.
- Experience with professional camera, lighting, or sound equipment is a plus.
