Job Description

Ipsos is seeking dedicated and reliable Mystery Shopping Associates to join our team for part-time weekend work in Pomona, CA. This unique opportunity allows you to contribute to improving customer experiences across various industries by anonymously evaluating services, products, and environments. You’ll play a crucial role in providing invaluable feedback that helps businesses understand their strengths and areas for improvement, all while enjoying a flexible schedule on weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct unannounced visits to assigned retail stores, restaurants, service centers, and other businesses as a regular customer.
- Observe and evaluate specific aspects of the customer experience, including staff interaction, product knowledge, store cleanliness, service speed, and compliance with company standards.
- Accurately and objectively document findings using a provided online survey tool immediately after each visit.
- Interact with employees as needed, asking specific questions or making purchases as instructed by the assignment guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to all project guidelines, deadlines, and ethical standards, maintaining complete anonymity throughout the shopping process.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with project coordinators regarding assignment status and any encountered issues.
Required Skills

- Strong written communication skills for clear, concise, and objective reporting.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of personal accountability.
- Access to a computer or smartphone with reliable internet access for report submission.
- Ability to maintain anonymity and act naturally in various customer service scenarios.
- Independent and self-motivated work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a mystery shopper or in a customer service evaluation role.
- Familiarity with various retail, restaurant, or service industries.
- Flexible schedule and availability to complete assignments on weekends.
- Residency in or near the Pomona, CA area.
