Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Porter to join our welcoming team at our prestigious hotel in Savannah. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in hospitality, as full training will be provided. As a Night Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during the overnight hours. You will be the main point of contact for guests after hours, assisting with their needs, managing inquiries, and maintaining the hotel’s pristine appearance. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security checks and patrols of the hotel premises to ensure guest safety and property security.
- Handle late-night guest check-ins and early check-outs efficiently and courteously.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all guest requests and emergencies during the night shift.
- Assist guests with luggage, transportation, and other needs as required.
- Monitor the front desk and lobby area, ensuring a calm and orderly environment.
- Prepare and deliver wake-up calls and room service orders.
- Assist with minor maintenance issues or coordinate with on-call staff for urgent repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, including the lobby and entrances.
- Complete nightly reports and logs accurately.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
