Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and diligent Evening Office Janitor to maintain the cleanliness and order of our office facilities in Plymouth. This part-time role operates from 6pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday, offering a consistent schedule in a quiet and independent work environment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
- Empty waste bins and transport waste to disposal areas.
- Clean and disinfect kitchenettes/break rooms.
- Wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and countertops.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning tasks.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided if needed).
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for the duration of the shift.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations pertinent to cleaning.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
