Job Description

As an Online Ad Content Reviewer for 15 Year Old Teens – Safety at Meta, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our platform for young users. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing advertising content targeted at or viewed by 15-year-old teens to ensure strict adherence to Meta’s community standards and advertising policies, with a primary focus on safety, appropriateness, and compliance. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to make sound, unbiased judgments in a fast-paced environment. Your work directly contributes to creating a safer and more positive experience for one of our most vulnerable user groups.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate advertising content, including images, videos, text, and landing pages, to determine compliance with Meta’s advertising policies and safety guidelines specific to teens aged 15.
  • Identify and action content that is inappropriate, harmful, misleading, or violates platform policies, paying close attention to nuances related to youth safety.
  • Utilize internal tools and resources to accurately categorize, escalate, and resolve content issues.
  • Collaborate with policy, legal, and product teams to refine content guidelines and improve review processes.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in content review operations.
  • Provide constructive feedback and insights to improve tools and policy enforcement.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving online safety trends and regulatory requirements impacting teen users.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to apply complex policies to specific content examples with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Strong understanding of internet culture, social media trends, and potential online risks to young people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, target-driven environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in using web-based tools and navigating multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • High degree of empathy and an objective approach to sensitive content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in content moderation, trust & safety, policy enforcement, or a similar field.
  • Experience working with or understanding of youth protection guidelines and regulations (e.g., COPPA, GDPR-K).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Communications, Law).
  • Familiarity with Meta’s products and advertising ecosystem.
  • Multilingual abilities are a plus.
