Job Description

This position requires keen judgment, resilience, and a commitment to protecting our users from harmful or inappropriate content.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and moderate user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, specifically targeting content for 18-year-old teens.
- Enforce Meta's community standards and policies with accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and escalate complex or high-priority cases to senior team members or specialized departments.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of content moderation guidelines and processes.
- Maintain a high level of productivity and quality in content review while working independently in a remote setting.
- Provide feedback on policy clarity, tool effectiveness, and training materials.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of online content and digital trends affecting young adults.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex content based on established guidelines.
- High degree of empathy and sensitivity to diverse user experiences.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in content moderation, online community management, or digital safety roles.
- Familiarity with Meta's platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp).
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Communications).
- Experience working with sensitive content and managing potential emotional impact.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
