Job Description
Are you a trendsetter with an innate understanding of what captivates 16-year-old teens? Do you live and breathe Pinterest, constantly discovering new aesthetics, DIYs, fashion, and lifestyle content that resonates with today’s youth? AwesomenessTV is seeking an enthusiastic and visually astute Online Pinterest Curator to craft compelling and on-trend Pinterest boards specifically for our teen audience. This role requires a keen eye for visual design, a deep dive into youth culture, and the ability to translate insights into engaging, shareable content that drives discovery and interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and optimize a portfolio of Pinterest boards tailored to the interests and aesthetics of 16-year-old teens.
- Conduct ongoing trend research across social media platforms, fashion, music, and digital culture to identify emerging themes relevant to Gen Z.
- Curate high-quality visual content, including images, videos, and GIFs, ensuring brand consistency and audience appeal.
- Write engaging, SEO-friendly pin descriptions and titles to maximize visibility and click-through rates.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to align Pinterest strategy with broader content campaigns.
- Monitor Pinterest analytics to track performance, identify successful content, and inform future curation strategies.
- Engage with the Pinterest community, responding to comments and fostering a sense of community around our boards.
- Stay updated with Pinterest algorithm changes, new features, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated expertise in using Pinterest for content curation and community engagement.
- Profound understanding of 16-year-old teen culture, trends, and digital behaviors.
- Strong visual design sensibility and a keen eye for aesthetics and composition.
