Job Description

This is an incredible entry-level opportunity where full training will be provided. You will work alongside experienced technicians and engineers, learning the intricacies of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, critical power infrastructure, and data center environments. No prior experience is necessary; we’re looking for individuals with a strong desire to learn, a meticulous approach, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role is perfect for someone looking for hands-on technical training and a clear path for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Online UPS systems and related power equipment.
- Learn to perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks on UPS units.
- Support in diagnosing and resolving technical issues under supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment status, and parts used.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Help prepare tools and equipment for service calls and projects.
- Participate in training sessions and actively seek to expand knowledge of UPS technology and electrical systems.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environmental conditions as required by the job.
Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or coursework in electronics, electrical systems, or a related technical field.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite).
