Job Description
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Online Video Editor to specialize in content for a 17-year-old teen demographic across TikTok and YouTube platforms. This role requires a keen eye for current social media trends, a strong understanding of youth culture, and expert proficiency in video editing software. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality short-form and long-form videos that resonate with a teen audience. The ideal candidate is passionate about digital storytelling, has a finger on the pulse of what’s trending, and can work collaboratively to bring creative visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content optimized for TikTok (short-form) and YouTube (long-form).
- Incorporate music, sound effects, graphics, text overlays, and other visual elements to enhance storytelling.
- Stay current with the latest TikTok and YouTube trends, challenges, and best practices for teen audiences.
- Collaborate closely with content creators, producers, and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver consistent brand messaging.
- Ensure all videos meet technical specifications for various platforms and maintain high production quality.
- Manage and organize media assets, projects, and archives efficiently.
- Provide creative input and suggestions to improve video concepts and execution.
- Work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Demonstrated experience editing engaging content specifically for TikTok and YouTube.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms and best practices for audience engagement.
- Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to adapt editing style to suit different content types and target demographics.
