Job Description

As a Pinterest Customer Success Specialist with a Tech Startup focus at Google, you will be instrumental in empowering emerging tech companies to maximize their presence and impact on the Pinterest platform. You will serve as a trusted advisor, guiding startups through Pinterest’s advertising and organic growth tools, ensuring they achieve their marketing and business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem, digital marketing trends, and the unique capabilities of Pinterest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of tech startup clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all Pinterest-related initiatives.
  • Understand client business objectives and develop tailored Pinterest strategies that align with their goals, from brand awareness to conversion.
  • Provide expert guidance on Pinterest best practices, campaign optimization, ad formats, and measurement.
  • Analyze campaign performance data, generate insightful reports, and present actionable recommendations to clients.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for growth and expansion within client accounts.
  • Educate clients on new Pinterest features and products, ensuring they stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Google's sales, product, and marketing teams to advocate for client needs and drive platform improvements.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to track progress, demonstrate ROI, and plan future strategies.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer success, account management, or digital marketing, specifically with advertising platforms.
  • Proven expertise in the Pinterest platform, including organic features and paid advertising solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the tech startup ecosystem, their unique challenges, and growth strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client relationships and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and data analytics tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience working directly with or for tech startups.
  • Familiarity with other social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
  • Certification in Pinterest advertising or other relevant digital marketing certifications.
  • Experience in developing and delivering training or workshops.
