Job Description
Are you passionate about helping tech startups thrive and master their digital presence? Do you have a knack for connecting businesses with powerful platforms like Pinterest? We are looking for a Pinterest Customer Success Manager with a strong focus on tech startups to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding our innovative merchant partners, primarily tech startups, on how to best leverage Pinterest to drive traffic, engagement, and sales. You will act as a strategic advisor, providing expert guidance, best practices, and support to ensure their success on the platform, ultimately contributing to their overall business growth within the Shopify ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of tech startup merchants, acting as their primary point of contact for Pinterest-related strategies.
- Onboard new merchants, guiding them through the setup and optimization of their Pinterest Business accounts and related integrations.
- Proactively identify opportunities for merchants to increase their success on Pinterest through data-driven insights and best practices.
- Provide expert consultation on Pinterest content strategy, ad campaigns, SEO for Pins, product tagging, and analytics interpretation.
- Monitor merchant performance on Pinterest, analyze key metrics, and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and sales teams to advocate for merchant needs and contribute to platform improvements.
- Educate merchants on new Pinterest features and Shopify integrations, ensuring they maximize their use of all available tools.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries and technical issues related to Pinterest, escalating when necessary and ensuring timely resolution.
- Host workshops, webinars, and create resources to share Pinterest expertise with the broader merchant community.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in customer success, account management, or a similar client-facing role, preferably within a tech or SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated expertise and deep understanding of the Pinterest platform for business, including Pinterest Ads, Analytics, and best practices.
- Proven ability to understand business objectives and translate them into effective Pinterest strategies.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with tech startups or in the startup ecosystem.
- Familiarity with the Shopify platform and its ecosystem.
- Background in digital marketing, social media marketing, or e-commerce.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
