Job Description

State Farm is seeking a diligent and experienced Professional Field Auditor to join our growing team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This critical role involves conducting on-site audits to ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive on-site audits of agency operations, claims processes, and other business units to ensure adherence to company standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Identify potential risks, compliance gaps, and areas for process improvement, providing clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, documenting findings, evidence, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to communicate audit results and facilitate the implementation of corrective measures.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, company policies, and best practices relevant to auditing functions.
  • Provide training and guidance to agency staff regarding compliance and operational procedures.
  • Manage a caseload of audits efficiently, meeting established deadlines and quality standards.
  • Travel regularly within the designated region to perform field audits.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Field Auditor or in a similar compliance/auditing role (minimum 3 years).
  • Strong understanding of auditing principles and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE).
  • Experience within the insurance or financial services industry.
