Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Receptionist to join our team in New Port Richey. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual eager to start immediately and contribute to a professional healthcare environment. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive impression for our patients and visitors. This position offers weekly pay and a chance to quickly become an integral part of our front office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls, taking messages as needed.
- Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and reschedules.
- Register new patients and update existing patient information.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Assist with various administrative tasks as required by the office manager.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Customer service-oriented with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office or reception role.
- Familiarity with medical scheduling software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
