Job Description
We are seeking a creative and passionate Recipe Content Developer specializing in Pinterest strategy to join our dynamic marketing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing, developing, and optimizing engaging recipe content specifically tailored for the Pinterest platform. Your work will drive brand engagement, inspire culinary exploration, and ultimately contribute to our digital marketing success. This position requires a blend of culinary expertise, strong content creation skills, and a deep understanding of Pinterest’s best practices for reach and conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test innovative and appealing recipes aligned with brand guidelines and seasonal trends.
- Create high-quality, visually stunning photography and video content for Pinterest pins, optimized for mobile viewing.
- Write compelling, SEO-friendly recipe descriptions and accompanying blog post content (if applicable) for Pinterest integration.
- Manage and maintain a content calendar for Pinterest, ensuring consistent posting and engagement.
- Monitor Pinterest trends, analytics, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with marketing, brand, and culinary teams to ensure content consistency and brand messaging.
- Optimize existing Pinterest content for improved performance and discoverability.
- Stay current with Pinterest algorithm changes and platform features to maximize content reach.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in recipe development and food styling.
- Strong photography and videography skills, specifically for food content.
- Expertise in Pinterest content creation, strategy, and analytics.
- Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail and SEO best practices.
- Proficiency with photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A portfolio demonstrating successful food content creation for digital platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in digital content creation, with a focus on food and Pinterest.
