Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and professional Regional Truck Drivers to join our team in the Overland Park area. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Transport freight efficiently and on schedule across designated regional routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment, reporting any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of driving activities, cargo, and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or shifting during transit.
- Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of goods.
Required Skills
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Clean driving record (MVR) for the past 3 years
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Minimum of 24 months verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs)
- Previous regional driving experience
- Hazardous Materials (HazMat) endorsement (not required, but a plus)
