Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Gallery Wall Fitter to join our esteemed team. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional client experiences by ensuring the precise and aesthetically pleasing installation of mirrors, art frames, and other wall-mounted decor in residential and commercial spaces. The ideal candidate will possess an unwavering commitment to precision, an eye for design, and the technical expertise to handle delicate and valuable items with utmost care.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise measurements and calculations for optimal placement of mirrors, frames, and artwork on various wall surfaces.
- Install a wide range of wall decor, including heavy mirrors, large art pieces, and complex gallery wall arrangements, using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Ensure all installations are level, secure, and aesthetically aligned with the client's vision and design specifications.
- Handle valuable and fragile items with extreme care, employing best practices for safe transport and positioning.
- Collaborate effectively with interior designers, sales associates, and clients to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on installation.
- Conduct pre-installation site visits to assess wall types, access limitations, and specific client needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and in transit.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any installation challenges with ingenuity and professionalism.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines during installations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in art installation, picture framing, or interior finishing.
- Exceptional precision and attention to detail in measurement and execution.
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and specialized mounting hardware.
