Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Remote Apple Compliance Officer with a strong regulatory focus to join our dynamic team. This critical role involves ensuring that all of our client’s operations and products related to the Apple ecosystem adhere strictly to global and regional regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs, conducting risk assessments, and providing expert guidance on a wide range of regulatory matters impacting Apple technologies and services. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures tailored to Apple's product lines and services, with a keen focus on regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor changes in global and regional regulations relevant to technology, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), consumer protection, and financial services, ensuring timely adaptation of compliance strategies.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations concerning Apple platforms.
  • Provide expert regulatory advice and guidance to various internal teams, including legal, product development, engineering, and marketing, on compliance matters related to Apple technologies.
  • Lead incident response for compliance breaches, ensuring thorough investigation, reporting, and corrective action plans are implemented.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and legal counsel as needed.
  • Design and deliver compliance training programs to educate employees on relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies within the Apple ecosystem and their potential regulatory implications.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory role, with a significant focus on the technology sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and other relevant tech industry compliance frameworks.
  • Proven experience working with or for major technology platforms, preferably with an understanding of Apple's ecosystem and policies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulations and translate them into actionable compliance strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.
  • Professional compliance certifications (e.g., CCEP, CIPP/E, CIPP/US).
  • Experience with compliance management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with intellectual property and competition law in a technology context.
  • Experience in cross-functional project management.
