Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Apple Privacy Analyst with a strong focus on Information Security to join our global team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring Apple’s products and services adhere to the highest privacy standards and comply with evolving global data protection regulations. You will work closely with engineering, legal, product, and security teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into our systems and processes. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for new and existing products, features, and services.
- Collaborate with information security teams to identify and mitigate privacy risks within Apple's ecosystem.
- Monitor and analyze global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement privacy controls, policies, and procedures across various teams.
- Participate in incident response activities related to privacy breaches and data security incidents.
- Advise product development teams on privacy-by-design principles and best practices.
- Conduct regular privacy audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Prepare reports and presentations on privacy risks, compliance status, and mitigation strategies for stakeholders.
- Educate and train internal teams on privacy awareness and data handling best practices.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in privacy analysis, information security, or compliance roles.
- Strong understanding of global privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
- Familiarity with information security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Proven ability to conduct privacy risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Law, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, or other relevant privacy/security certifications.
- Experience with Apple products, platforms, and ecosystem.
- Knowledge of cloud privacy and security best practices.
- Experience working in a large, global technology company.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
