Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Remote Game Data Verifier with a strong focus on financial accuracy to join our growing team. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the precision and integrity of game-related financial data, transactions, and reporting across various Amazon gaming platforms and services. You will analyze large datasets, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with various teams to resolve data inconsistencies. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a methodical approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial data quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify the accuracy and consistency of financial data related to game purchases, subscriptions, in-game transactions, and revenue reporting.
- Perform regular audits of game data against financial records to identify and flag discrepancies or anomalies.
- Investigate root causes of financial data discrepancies and collaborate with engineering, finance, and product teams to implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data verification processes and financial accuracy guidelines.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of data quality standards and verification methodologies.
- Generate reports on data accuracy, identified issues, and resolutions for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with data analysts to interpret complex data trends and financial implications.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in data verification, quality assurance, or a related analytical role.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets) for data manipulation and analysis.
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in large datasets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with remote teams.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and reporting principles.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
